ISLAND MYSTK SOAP
Island Mystk is a small, independent, bio-friendly, community project that hand manufactures 100% natural, 100% organic soap. The project was developed by Charlie, an American ex-pat, to create work, and therefore enable a better life, for Balinese in a desperately poor fishing village on the beautiful East coast of Bali. Island Mystk works in a synergising pattern of co - operation and equality for all. Employment of young women, with pre-school age children, is particularly encouraged, as these women can’t seek empolyment at all, due to lack of childcare. Island Mystk currently employs 9 women, 6 of whom bring their young children with them daily.
There are eight flavours of soap in the range including Coco Moko, Outrageous Orange and Organic Volcanic. All beautifully packaged by hand in colourful recycled paper.
